How to get started
A good candidate for solar will have a
south facing roof with some incline,
few obstructions (chimneys or vents),
and little shade.
Questions to Consider:
Does your roof get southern exposure?
If not, is there a clear area on the
ground nearby?
How large a space do you have available for installation? A good rule of thumb is to allow
100 square feet per kW.
How much shade do you get? Can trees be pruned to allow more light?
A system’s size can vary based on the needs of the customer. You can choose to displace all your electricity needs with solar, or only a part. To gauge how large a system may be appropriate for your home send some recent electricity bills to chris@npcpunited.com for a free estimate.
