About Our Map

Our map consists of solar power installation sites. There are 4 different types of markers which are described in the panel to the left of the screen in the "legend section". Each of the markers on the map are "clickable", when you click on a marker an bubble with pop up over the marker with additional information about the solar power installation.

Navigating Our Map

To navigate around the map there are a number of features available to you. In the top left portion of the map on your screen you should notice some control buttons. The up, down, left, and right buttons will move the map in each of those directions when clicked. The button in the center will bring you back to your previous location. The slider bar below is your "zoom level", you can click on the + or - symbols to zoom in and out of the map. You may also drag the zoom level indicator up or down to zoom as well, as if that was not enough, you may also double left click to zoom in, and double right click to zoom out.

Additional Features

There are a couple other options available to help you jump around the map, these features are the "Jump To" drop down menu above the map navigation buttons as well as a search function in the left panel under the legend. To use the Jump To function, simply click and select the location you wish to view. To search for locations, you must complete the form by entering an address and clicking the search button. The search results are only currently existing locations. You may enter a city name alone in the address box and a state in the state box, to return a list of locations that exist in the city you searched. Once results are returned for the search, you may click on a location to focus the map in that location.
