INCENTIVES AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLAR INSTALLATIONS
In the United States, there is a Federal Tax Credit for solar installations. Homeowners are eligible to recieve a tax credit for 30% of the total cost of the system, up to $2,000. The tax credit may be taken in the year the installation was completed. For example, if a homeowner completes their solar installation in March of 2007, they would be eligible for a tax credit on their 2007 federal taxes.
In addition, many states offer a rebate or state tax credit (or both) for solar installations. Choose from the following states to see what rebates you qualify for:
(AZ) Arizona Solar Power Installation Incentives
(CA) California Solar Power Installation Incentives
(CO) Colorado Solar Power Installation Incentives
(FL) Florida Solar Power Installation Incentives
(NJ) New Jersey Solar Power Installation Incentives
(NY) New York Solar Power Installation Incentives
